The selection process for the NCL Recruitment 2026 (Advt No. NCL/HR/MP/Recruitment/2026/184) is transparent and merit-based, conducted in two primary stages. Notably, there is no interview for these Grade C and D positions.

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

The first and most critical stage is the written examination. All eligible candidates will be called for a 90-minute online test.

• Total Marks: 100 Marks.

• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

• Language: Bilingual (English and Hindi).

• Marking Scheme: * +1 Mark for every correct answer.

  • No Negative Marking for wrong or unattempted questions.

Stage 2: Document Verification (DV)

Candidates who meet the cut-off in the CBT will be shortlisted for Document Verification. The number of candidates called is usually in a 1:3 ratio relative to the number of vacancies.

Required Documents for Verification:

1. Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or PAN Card.

2. Date of Birth Proof: Matriculation (10th) Certificate.

3. Educational Certificates: Degree/Diploma marksheets and certificates.

4. Technical/License Proof: Valid HMV/Transport License (for HEMM Operators) or State Nursing Council Registration (for Staff Nurses).

5. Caste/Category Certificate: Valid SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS certificates (if applicable).

Final Merit List & Appointment

The final selection is strictly based on the marks obtained in the CBT.

• If two candidates score the same marks, the older candidate (by date of birth) is given preference.

• Selected candidates undergo a Preliminary Medical Examination (PME) at NCL’s designated hospitals to ensure physical fitness before final deployment in the mines or hospitals.

Step-by-Step Application Guide

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to the NCL homepage at www.nclcil.in.

3. Select the Notification: Look for the link titled “Employment Notice/Advertisement for Direct Recruitment for HEMM Operators, Paramedical Staff, and Overseer (Civil)” and click “Apply Online.”

4. Registration: * Fill in your basic details (Name, Email, and Mobile Number).

   • Verify your details via the OTP sent to your phone/email.

   • You will receive a User ID and Password on your registered email.

5. Fill the Application Form: Log in with your new credentials. Enter your personal details, permanent address, and complete educational qualifications (10th, 12th, Diploma/Degree).

6. Upload Documents: Scan and upload the following (ensure they are under the specified size, usually < 200kb):

   • Recent color passport photo and signature.

   • Matriculation (10th) certificate (for DOB proof).

   • Valid HMV/Transport License (for HEMM Operator posts).

   • Relevant Nursing/Pharmacy/Civil Engineering certificates.

7. Payment of Fee: Pay the fee of ₹1,180 (for UR/OBC/EWS) via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI. SC/ST/PwBD candidates should skip this step as they are exempted.

8. Final Submission: Review all entries one last time. Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for future reference.
